The model first came to the media attention when she dated the R&B superstar Chris Brown. After splitting with Brown, she was in a relationship with a former football player, Victor Cruz. Now, fans are curious to know if Tran is still dating the former athlete.

From Chris Brown to Victor Cruz

The actress began dating famous R&B singer Chris Brown in 2011. They broke up briefly when Chris reconciled with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. After things between Chris and Rihanna ended, Tran and Chris rekindled their relationship. But Tran ended her relationship with Brown after it was revealed in March 2015 that he had a daughter, Royalty Brown, with Nia Guzman.

Things between Tran and Chris got heated, and she even filed a case against the singer. She was granted a temporary 100-yard restraining order against Chris Brown. Following her failed relationship, the actress once again found love with the former football player, Victor Cruz.

Tran made her relationship with Cruz official in November 2017. After a three year relationship, the couple decided to go their separate ways.  The news of their split surfaced in early February this year.

From Personal Shopper to an Actress

Initially, Tran started her career in the fashion world as a personal shopper. Likewise, she worked at Nordstrom in California and later worked as a freelance celebrity stylist. Dating Chris Brown only helped her earn the media attention, after which she participated in various photoshoots for brands such as Lady Crooks. She also started a clothing line, The Kill.

Tran made her debut as an actress playing the role of Vivian Johnson in the web series, The Bay. She appeared in the series from 2013-2016 and bagged two Daytime Emmy Awards. She also hosted the BET Awards red carpet in 2014.

Tran has appeared on the covers of several magazines like Rolling Out, Ouch Magazine, The Hundreds, Bleu Magazine, and Annex Magazine. She had her first feature film, 3-Headed Shark Attack, in 2015. The same year, she signed a contract with Wilhelmina Models LA.

A Mix of Vietnamese and African-American

Karrueche Tran was born in 1988 in Los Angeles, California. She celebrates her birthday on May 17, which makes her age 33. She was born to a Vietnamese mother, Cindy Adamson, and a Jamaican-American father, DeVon Minters.

Tran has a brother named Raymond Adamson. She attended Fairfax High School and graduated from Birmingham High School in 2006.
