Questlove is a man who prefers to keep his romantic life private and away from the media. However, he has brought up his girlfriend on few occasions.

In one of the interviews, the drummer revealed that he admires his girlfriend as a hero and disclosed her name to be Gracie. He said:

My girlfriend Gracie is a godsend hero. She introduced me to the world of Dr Joe Dispenza (new hero) who taught me that I am my own hero.”

According to Hollywood Mask, Questlove’s girlfriend is Grace Harry, who happens to be the ex-wife of Usher. Besides, she had served as Usher’s manager and led Usher’s New Look as a philanthropist.

Drummer for the Roots

Questlove is famous as the drummer and joint frontman for the Grammy-winning band, The Roots. The group has been serving as the house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since 2014, and previously served for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon before Fallon took over Jay Leno’s spot on The Tonight Show.

Nonetheless, the band was formed in 1993 and released albums like Organix, Do You Want More?!!!??! An Illadelph, and Halflife. The band earned notoriety for their song, “You Got Me,” in 1999.

Questlove was born in 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He celebrates his birthday on January 20, which makes his age 50. His real name is Ahmir Khalib Thompson. He was born to his singer father, Arthur Lee Andrews Thompson, and his mother, Jacquelin Thompson, a singer for the Dixie Hummingbirds.

Questlove grew up in backstages and started playing drums at the age of seven. He attended Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing arts and later took jazz composition classes at the Settlement Music School.
