Hamish is happily married to his beautiful wife, Zoë Foster Blake. His wife is an Australian author, columnist, magazine editor, and cosmetics entrepreneur.
Their love story started with a friendship when they met each other at a media event. Hamish immediately fell in love with Zoe. He said:
“I had never met anyone like her – confident, hilarious, obviously beautiful and very full of fun and life. I’ve come to know it as the Zoë magic.”
However, Zoe saw Hamish as a friend initially, but a year later, her feelings towards the comedian changed romantically. On 3rd January 2012, Hamish announced that he was engaged to his girlfriend. The duo tied the knot later that year on 11 December 2012 in New South Wales.
The lovey-dovey couple shares two children- Sonny Donald Blake, born on 10 May 2014, and Rudy Hazel Blake, born on 19 July 2017. The loving parents of two celebrated their 8th anniversary in December 2020. On the anniversary, the comedian wrote on Instagram:
“8 years ago in our wedding vows we promised to love each other unconditionally.”
Hamish’s journey in comedy started when he met Andy Lee. The duo collaborated in 2003 and was known together as “Hamish and Andy.” They had their breakout performance at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and performed live on television and radio shows. They rose to prominence for their radio program, Hamish & Andy. Likewise, Hamish has been featured as a solo act on TV series like Spicks and Specks, Thank God You’re Here, and Rove.
In 2008, Hamish was featured at the 2008 Great Debate from the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. As an actor, he has appeared in shows like Neighbors, The Librarians, Two Little Boys, Molly, Now Add Honey, and Ralph Breaks the Internet. His other TV appearances include Hamish & Andy’s Caravan of Courage, Hamish & Andy’s Asian Gap Year, True Love with Hamish & Andy, and Lego Masters Australia.

Hamish Donald Blake was born in 1981 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He celebrates his birthday on 11 December, which makes his age 39. He was born as the middle child to his parents – Noel and Kerry. His parents split when he was 17. His older brother, Lachlan, is a solicitor, whereas his sister, Sophie, has completed an arts degree.
The comedian, who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, attended Glen Waverly South Primary school, Caulfield Grammar School, and later graduated from St Leonard’s College. He enrolled at the University of Melbourne before dropping out to pursue a career in comedy.
