]]>Wayne Brady has had many ups in his career. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his marriages. The actor was first married to a Columbian singer, Diana Lasso. The duo tied the knot when Wayne was starting as an improv artist. After exchanging vows on December 31 1993, the two hardly stayed together for two years as they divorced on September 21 1995.
Following his divorce, the actor found love in the arms of his longtime friend, Mandie Taketa. The pair had met in a show in which Wayne was performing. Nonetheless, after dating for three years, they tied the knot on April 3 1999.
Brady and his second-wife, Taketa, welcomed a daughter, Maile Masako Brady, in 2003. However, their marriage only lasted for a few years as the pair separated in 2006 and divorced in 2008. They ended their marriage on good terms as Wayne’s ex-wife helped him with his depression, and they also isolated together with their daughter and Taketa’s boyfriend, Jason.
For now, Brady appears to be single. Hopefully, his love life will flourish next time for long years.
Brady made his TV debut, appearing in an episode of Superboy in 1990. He then guest-starred in I’ll Fly Away and In the Heat of the Night. He also appeared on Kwik Witz from 1996 to 1999 and was featured on three episodes of the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Later, he became a regular performer on the American version of the show—a role which earned him three Emmy nominations, taking home the third one in 2003.
Brady has also starred in movies such as Going to the Mat, Roll Bounce, Crossover, and more. He hosted the Miss America pageant in 2001 and 2002 and hosted the variety show, The Wayne Brady Show.
Brady also performed on Broadway in Chicago and Kinky Boots. Over the years, he has been a part of various TV shows and films, which helped him amass a fortune worth $12 million.
