Asya Branch is Dating a Musician
As Asya won the title of Miss America 2020, many people are curious to know if the beauty pageant winner is single. However, Asya is in a relationship with her boyfriend, Briley Morgan, a multi-instrumentalist musician.
The couple has known each other since middle school but only started dating in 2018. Moreover, Asya’s boyfriend has supported her every step in the beauty pageant. He had attended the event where his girlfriend won the title of “Most Beautiful 2018”. At the time, Briley told:
“I knew she was going to win. I’m super excited for her to compete for Miss Mississippi – she’s turned me into a pageant boyfriend.”

Asya Branch Journey to Miss USA
Asya’s journey to Miss USA started when she was in her senior year of high school, competing in beauty pageants competitions. She made history in the state of Mississippi when she became the first African-American woman to be crowned Miss Mississippi USA in 2018. However, she was unplaced when she went to compete in Miss America in 2019.
However, Asya tried to compete once again. In 2020, she became the first woman from her state to be crowned Miss USA. Likewise, she represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. Asya also runs her own cosmetic line called Branch Beauty.
Asya’s Father was in Prison
Asya Danielle Branch was born in 1998 in Detroit, Michigan. She celebrates her birthday on May 5, which makes her age 23. Her father is a retired military, and her mother, Kristal Whitlow-Branch, worked as a teacher’s assistant. She grew up alongside two sisters.
When Asya was ten years old, her father was arrested for kidnapping and armed robbery. She comes from a huge family and is the sixth child out of eight siblings. She attended Harvard University for summer school and graduated from the University of Mississippi.
Asya belongs to the African-American ethnicity. She has a decent height of 5 feet 4 inches.
