Chase came into the spotlight after dating the reality TV star Whitney Way Thore. The duo started dating in early 2019 after they were introduced by a mutual friend, Ryan Andres. The couple quickly proceeded to the next step of their relationship and announced their engagement in October 2019. Whitney was quick to announce the news, writing:
“Chase and I got engaged on October 9th in Paris and I’m quite possibly the happiest woman alive. It has been REAL hard to keep this a secret!”
Whitney’s happiness quickly faded after she found her fiancé expecting a baby with another woman with whom he had a history with. In May 2020, Chase announced that he would be splitting with his fiancee through Instagram. Whitney also spoke on the matter:

While the fans were upset about Chase and Whitney’s breakup, Chase was excited to have his baby. On 9 September 2020, he shared a picture with his newborn daughter, Aurora Joyce, on Instagram and wrote:
“You scared me, little one, coming so early but what a blessing you turned out to be. I always rolled my eyes and laughed at the prospect of fatherhood before but as cliche as it sounds you’re the world to me now.”
On the post, Chase also shared a picture with the mother of his child. However, he didn’t reveal her name at that time.

In the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Chase Severino revealed that he had already proposed to the mother of his child, Sarah Jackson. In fact, Sarah is Chase’s former girlfriend with whom he reignited a relationship in the worldwide pandemic.
Chase is enjoying his life with his new fiance and their one-year-old daughter. The couple recently bought a house in Wilmington.
