Love Island Australia host Sophie Monk recently purchased a $2.25 million NSW Central Coast luxurious Hamptons-style acreage.
The former Bardot singer picked a lavish three-bedroom, two-bathroom home that sits on 8,000 sq. m. estate at Matcham. The single level home, surrounded by stunning gardens, features an outdoor pool and is close to Forresters and Wamberal beach.
The Matcham estate boasts a luxury master bedroom with an ensuite, oversized walk-in wardrobe. Mansion has a large open living room with a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf. It also features an entertaining outdoor space with a electric fireplace and a built-in pizza oven.
The acreage has a large open kitchen with marble table tops for the reality star, who is the face of HelloFresh and stars in its new cooking series ‘Dish the Delish.’
The mansion was built in 2000 that was last traded at $1.4 million in 2016. Last year, the house had a renovation of $250,000.
Based in Los Angeles for ten years, Monk retained her Gold Coast home up for rent at $1200 a week, last weekend. She had purchased the five-bedroom, three-bathroom Helensvale estate in 2016 for $1.1 million.
Monk had recently renovated the Gold Coast’s two-storey home, which is set on 4000sqm of land in the Riverdowns Estate.
The Aussie TV personality got her big break as a member of the pop group Bardot in the late 1990s. She was a winner of 2015 The Celebrity Apprentice and even joined the judging panel for Australia’s Got Talent. Besides, she was the star of The Bachelorette Australia in 2017.

Monk was born in London, the UK, to an Australian mother and an English father. In 1982, her family moved to Australia’s Gold Coast when she was two.
Following her stint on Celebrity Bachelorette, Monk dated the winner, Stu Laundy, only for a few months and split with him. Now, the TV host is in a relationship with her new boyfriend, Joshua Gross. She began dating her entrepreneur boyfriend, who specializes in neurosurgical robotics in 2018.

Monk said in an interview:
“I want to be with him [Joshua] forever”.
Last year, she even gushed:
“I’d love to have a family one day, but we’re not trying yet.”
Her boyfriend will likely make a move in her new NSW estate.
