Married to an Indian Husband
Zohreen’s married life comes straight out from romantic movies. The Pakistani-born journalist is married to her husband, Kishi Shah, of Indian descent. As the two were of different cultures, they had to hide their engagement from their family and friends after getting engaged in July 2016. Moreover, they also planned a secret wedding, and Zohreen’s fiancé invited the guests, telling them that he would propose to her.
The unaware guests were in for a surprise when they realized they were at the wedding. The pair tied the knot on August 7, 2017, with a guest of 200 people. Moreover, their wedding included traditions from both their cultures. The reporter has featured her husband many times and has also celebrated her anniversary on social media.

Zohreen’s career as a Reporter
Upon earning her B.A. in Mass Communication and M.S. in Broadcast Journalism, Zohreen moved to New York to gain valuable experience contributing to the Los Angeles Times. In 2011, she earned a spot to be a master’s fellow at CNN L.A.
From 2012 to 2014, Zohreen worked at Sacramento’s KTXL’s Fox 40 News and started as a social media anchor before being promoted to a multimedia journalist. Later, she moved on to work as a freelance journalist for San Diego’s Fox5 News for almost two years.
However, the journalist earned major spotlight when she worked at KTTV’s Fox 11 from 2016 to 2019. Upon joining ABC News in 2019, she set right to work as an embed reporter for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign.
In 2020, the journalist earned a promotion to a multiplatform reporter in L.A. Besides, Zohreen has also worked for GMA and ABC World News.
Zohreen Shah was Born into a Pakistani Family
Zohreen Shah (nee Adamjee) was born in 1984 in Pakistan. She celebrates her birthday on August 2, which makes her age 37. She was born to her mother, Sameena Adamjee. Her family later moved to California, United States, along with her sister.
Zohreen attended UCLA and Columbia Graduate School of Journalism. She is fluent in Spanish, Urdu, and Gujarati. She holds both Pakistani and American citizenship.
