Brian Pillman Jr. is a second-generation talent, with wrestling blood running through his veins. He is the son of a professional wrestler, Brian Pillman.
His late father is best known for his appearances in Stampede Wrestling in the 1980s, World Championship Wrestling, and the World Wrestling Federation in the 1990s. Unfortunately, his father died prematurely at the age of 35 on October 5, 1997.
A Rising Star In AEW
In 2017, Brian Pillman Jr. opted to pursue a career in wrestling, following in his father’s footsteps and being taught by Lance Storm. Before signing with Major League Wrestling, he wrestled in independent circuits such as IWC and CZW. During his time there, Pillman made an impression, earning the World Tag Team Championship and the Rookie of the Year award.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic not allowing MLW to put on shows, Pillman started making appearances for AEW, where he eventually teamed up with Griff Garrison to form The Varsity Blondes. Soon, the team was winning games, rising the standings, and gaining popularity among fans.
Julia Hart began aligning herself with The Varsity Blonds on May 11, 2021 and has been making appearances with them ever since. Pillman signed a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling on July 12, 2021, making him an official member of the roster.

The Only Son Born to His Parents
Brian Pillman Jr. is the only son born to his parents – Brian Pillman and Melanie. After the death of his father, his mother gave birth to his younger sister, Skylar King.
Pillman has four half-siblings from his parents’ former relationships. From his mother’s side, he has two step-sisters – Alexis Michelle Reed and Jesse Morgan. Likewise, he has also two step-sisters from his late father’s side – Danielle and Brittany.
In 2017, Brittany claimed that Melanie’s daughter Skylar King is not Pillman’s biological daughter, but the child of another man whom Melanie married shortly after Pillman’s death, and that Melanie used all of the money given to Pillman’s family by the WWF and wrestlers for drugs instead.
Revealed He Lost His Girlfriend in Mournful Tweet
Brian Pillman Jr., the star of All Elite Wrestling, recently wrote a series of sombre tweets, stating that he had lost his phone, girlfriend, and everything in a matter of a few days.
On 15 November, he tweeted:
“I just lost everything in a matter of a couple of days. I am so empty I don’t know what to do.”
In another tweet, the 28-year-old clarified that he had lost his phone, girlfriend, and was on the verge of losing his dog.
I lost my phone. I lost my girlfriend. I almost lost my dog and now I have no memories or photos to look back on and reminisce. Over a year of pictures completely gone. My whole time here in Jacksonville feels like it’s been erased from my life.

Brian has kept his dating life a secret. As a result, it’s tough to determine who he was dating. We do, however, have a hint.
According to a 2019 Instagram post, the AEW wrestler was dating Sam Leterna, a sports broadcaster. He shared a photo with his then-girlfriend Sam after one of their training sessions in February of that year.
The caption reads:
“Couples who beat people up together, stay together! A little CrossFit and bag work with the love of my life, @samleterna to kick off Valentine’s Day!”
We can presume Brian was referring to Sam when he mentioned losing his girlfriend in the recent tweet if the couple was still together in 2021. We’ll only know for sure when he reveals specific details of his girlfriend.
