Charlene White is a well-known presenter of British TV as she has appeared and worked for many renowned networks, including BBC. Likewise, she has been the lead presenter of ITV News London since 2019 and has worked for BBC and ITN. Mother of Two Children

Charlene has been in a long time relationship with her partner, Andy. The duo first met at a friend’s party in 2015 and immediately fell for each other. Eventually, the two started living together. The couple introduced their first child, a son, Alfie, in August 2017. Two years later, Alfie’s sister arrived in October 2019.

Charlene often features her adorable children on her Instagram page. She mentioned how her children bonded during quarantine, writing:

“They love playing together, and Alfie loves being in charge and telling her off. And Florence mostly just kills herself laughing every time he has a tantrum. Amongst all the bad stuff… watching these two getting to know each other has been the good stuff.”

On the contrary, Charlene has not been very open when it comes to sharing photos of her partner. Regardless, she resides happily with her partner and two children, and the pair are yet to tie the knot.

Lead Presenter of ITV News London

Charlene worked as a presenter and senior broadcast journalist at BBC Look East, Radio 5 Live Morning Reports, BBC Three 60 Seconds, and BBC News. She also had her late-night talk show on BBC London 94.9. In 2002, she joined Radio 1 Newsbeat and its sister digital station BBC Radio 1Xtra as a reporter.

Charlene also worked as a reporter and producer for ITV News Meridian on ITV Meridian in Kent. She joined ITN in 2008 and became the first black woman to present ITV News at Ten in 2014. The same year, she became an occasional relief presenter of the ITV Lunchtime News & ITV Evening News.

In 2019, Charlene announced she would be the lead presenter of ITV News London’s main 6 pm programme. She has been an anchor on Loose Women since 2021.

Charlene Denise White was born in 1980 in Greenwich, London, England. She celebrates her birthday on 22 June, which makes her age 41. She was born to Denis and Dorrett Lonie. Her father worked in the Royal Air Force. She has two younger siblings, Joshua and Carina.

Charlene lost her mother when she was 21 years old. She attended Blackheath High School and graduated from the London College of Printing.
