In the video, he transformed from a Jedi armed with a light saber to Ben 10 to Spider-man, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Miles Morales, from the animated Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The short TikTok video served as an incredible showcase of Bass’ deft and seamless VFX skills as well as his sense of humour and acting chops. The video amassed over 10 million views in a day and even caught the attention of Disney executive chairman Bob Iger and other high-profile celebrities such as Matthew Cherry, James Gunn, Josh Gad, Peter Ramsey, Tara Strong, and Zach Braff.

Though Bass found social media fame in 2020, he has been making videos since 2011. He first started with Lego stop-motion and later moved on to video and VFX when he was in high school in suburban Atlanta.
