The former Fox Sports reporter was once married to her longtime boyfriend, Luke Panic, an audio technician. They tied the knot in 2012 but couldn’t sustain their marital life. The two split in 2014.

Since then, the sports presenter has remained single, at least in the public eye. However, it has not stopped her admirers from linking her to famous personalities. She has been romantically linked to James Stewart and Mark Bosnich. Some sources even claim her to be in a relationship with the retired British soccer player, Ashley Westwood.

Seven Network’s Sports Presenter

McLaughlin started her television career with Sky News. She joined Fox Sports in 2007 as a host for multiple soccer shows like Kick Off, Indian Super League, and Fox Sports FC. She was also a regular on Fox Sports News.

In 2013, McLaughlin joined Network Ten and hosted Big Bash League. Besides, she hosted Ten’s coverage of the 2014 winter Olympics, 2014 Commonwealth Games, and Australian F1 Grand Prix.

In 2016, McLaughlin joined Seven Network as the weeknight sports presenter on Seven News Sydney. She hosted the network’s coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics, and the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

McLaughlin also hosted the network’s coverage of the Australian Swimming Championships and 2017 Rugby League World Cup. In 2018, she earned the spot as the host of Seven’s Test Cricket and Big Bash League Coverage alongside James Brayshaw.

Melanie Louise McLaughlin was born in 1979 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She celebrates her birthday on 3 September, which makes her age 42. Her father was a huge Manchester United fan. She had two sisters, but her elder sister, a police officer, has already passed away.
