After the IT outage on June 17th, CommBank suffered another system breakdown on Wednesday, leaving their customers distraught for several hours. Many vented their displeasure on their social media. The bank was not far behind in replying to their customers, and the bank representatives were posting regular updates on their Twitter page.

However, the bank’s apologies were not only limited to their official statement. On Friday, the affected customers started getting notifications about receiving $50 in their accounts. The ‘goodwill payment’ indeed left the customers happy for the weekend.
