Ernestine Sclafani came to the media attention when she tied the knot with the famous sports personality Skip Bayless. However, living with a die-hard sports fan might have been a challenge for Ernestine as she is not a sports lover. Regardless, she and her husband have managed to stay together for over 15 years.

Ernestine shared her tips and tricks from her relationship in her newly published book titled “Balls: How To Keep Your Relationship Alive When You Live With A Sports-Obsessed Guy.”

Ernestine is the wife of the sports columnist and commentator Skip Bayless. Her husband is well-known for his work as a commentator on the ESPN2 show First Take with Stephen A. Smith.

The duo first met in 2005 at ESPN. After a pleasant conversation and exchange of business cards, the two started dating soon after. On their first date, they bonded over classic TV shows and music. After dating for years, the couple got engaged on April 29 2011.

Five years later, Ernestine and Skip exchanged wedding vows on July 28 2016. Since then, the couple has stayed together. They don’t share any children.

Ernestine Sclafani Penned A Book On Relationship

Unlike her husband, Ernestine is not a huge sports fan but spent her career in fashion. She had worked as an Assistant Accessories Director from 1981 to 1983 and later worked as an Assistant Marketing Director from 1983 to 1985. She had also worked at the Bally of Switzerland.

Ernestine worked as a Vice President for Consumer Media Relations for Weber Shandwick from February 2005 to October 2018 and is now the Principal for Ernestine Sclafani Bayless PR. In 2019, she authored the book “BALLS: How to Keep Your Relationship Alive When You Live with a Sports-Obsessed Guy.” In her book, she wrote pro tips on keeping the romance alive when it feels like your partner comes from a different world.

On the other hand, her husband hosts his show on Fox Sports called “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed“. Before, he earned immense popularity among sports lovers as a commentator on the ESPN2 show “First Take“.

Ernestine Sclafani was born in 1962 in Long Island, New York. She celebrates her birthday on August 3, which makes her age 59. Her mother’s name is Evelyn Sclafani. She studied at Suffolk County Community College.
